Mr. Burgess teaches 8th Grade American History at Grandville Middle School.  Mr. Burgess is in his 15th year of teaching here at Grandville Public Schools.  Mr. Burgess is a graduate of Jenison High School and went on to get his bachelor's degree from Hope College and a master's degree from GVSU.  Mr. Burgess has been the varsity boy's swim coach here at Grandville for 15 years and was named 2009 state swim coach of the year.
